St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Union Baptist Church in St. Martinville for Dorothy P. Ledet, 86, who passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at her residence.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Union Baptist Church from 7:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday.Rev. Darren Benoit will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. She is survived by her son, Albert Ledet, III; daughter, Dodie L. LaMott; sisters, Willie Mae P. Ambroise, Maxine Cormier and Janice Underwood (Harold); brother, Lloyd Cormier; brother-in-law, Malcolm Ledet; grandchildren, Bryson Boudreaux, Laisha Duhon, Ross Rattliff, Ebony LaMott and Craig LaMott, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Qunell Duhon, Qunaisha Duhon, Jonah LaMott, Qarie Boudreaux, Quest Duhon and Julian Boudreaux; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ledet, Jr.; grandchild, Brandon Boudreaux; father, Calvin Polite; mother, Eunice Chambers Cormier; sisters, Ethel Broughton and Gloria Polite; brothers, Roy Polite and Herbert Donald Polite; and son-in-law, Craig LaMott, Sr. Pallbearers will be Bryson Boudreaux, Ross Rattliff, Craig LaMott, Jr., Deontre Spencer, Tommy Bolton, Jr. and Dylan Spencer.Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Ledet, III, Malcolm Ledet, Colton Isadore, Lloyd Cormier and Harold Underwood.Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.<iframe class="ts_player" allowfullscreen="true" allowtransparency="true" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" frameborder="0" height="330" scrolling="no" src="https://www.tributeslides.com/videos/embedded_video/XK39K888JPKGJ88K" width="512"></iframe>
