Dorothy Jordan Singleton

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Dorothy Jordan Singleton, 45, who died Wednesday, December 28, 2005 in Beaumont, TX. Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Mrs. Singleton worked 25 years in retail. Survivors include her father, Luther Jordan of Denver, CO; her son, Joseph Hurkerson Singleton of Houston, TX; her daughter, Tanya S. Thomas of Lafayette; her brother, Frederick Smith of LA; her sisters, Paula Jordan of Lafayette and Dianne McZeal of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Mason and Taylor Thomas; and her nieces, Blair Ruffins and Rene and Mary McZeal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis "T-Boy" Singleton; and her mother, Camellia S. Raymond. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. on Monday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. Monday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
