Dorothy Oubre Thibodaux

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Dorothy Oubre Thibodaux, 74, who died Sunday, June 26, 2005 at her residence in Houston, TX. Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery in New Iberia. The Reverend Austin Leger, Pastor of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral service. Mrs. Thibodaux was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include her sons, Rene Thibodaux and his wife Peggy, and Louis Thibodaux, all of Houston, TX; her daughters, Michelle Thibodaux of Houston, TX and Simonette Roberts of Lafayette; her sister, Helen Oubre Tabor of St. Martinville; and her grandchildren, Michael and Meagan Thibodaux, both of Houston, TX, Jennifer Roberts of Shreveport and Julia Roberts of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Thibodaux; her parents, Louis E. and Helen Hebert Oubre; her sister, Bertha Lasseigne; her brother, Patrick Oubre; and her son-in-law, Bernan Anthony Roberts. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8:30 AM on Wednesday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Wednesday. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
