Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Dorville "Bullon" Broussard, Jr., 87, who passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at St. Martin Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 6:00 am until 9:00 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 7:30 am on Saturday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Readers will be Dana Broussard and Tiffany Clay Broussard. Gift Bearers will be Eugene Broussard Sr. and Gertie Broussard. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. He is survived by his two sons, Eugene Broussard, Sr. and wife Gertie of Breaux Bridge and Archie Broussard and wife Mary of Clovis, NM; brothers, James Broussard of Duson, Dorsey Broussard, Robert Broussard, and Dan Broussard all of Houston, TX; sisters, Ida Abrams of Breaux Bridge and Edna Enord of Lafayette, grandchildren, Tina Broussard, Tiffany Clay, Eugene Broussard, Jr., Kendrick Broussard, Dana Broussard; great grandchildren, Shanique Broussard, Keegan Clay, Dylon Clay, Nijona Broussard, Layla Lemelle, and Layna Lemelle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Broussard; parents, Dorville Broussard Sr. and Fabiola Jollivette Broussard; brothers, Dalton Broussard and Daltez Broussard; sisters, Evelyn Jolivette and Arline Jean Batiste. Pallbearers will be Eugene Broussard Jr., Kendrick Broussard, Keegan Clay, Allen Blanchard Jr., Steve Shelton, and Billy Abrams. Honorary pallbearers will be James Broussard, Dorsey Broussard, Robert Broussard, and Dan Broussard.
