Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, May 9, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Drew Alexis Tauzin, 23, who passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2008 in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Church, will conduct the funeral service. Drew was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served two tours in Iraq. To the ones who helped Drew in his life, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ?To the ones who took advantage of his trustful nature, may God have mercy on your soul. Survivors include his parents, David and Anne Marie Brasseaux Tauzin, of Breaux Bridge; two brothers, Jacob Tauzin, of Breaux Bridge, and Eric Tauzin and his wife, Krystal, of Abbeville; one sister, Kodi Tauzin, of Breaux Bridge; and his maternal grandmother, Gloria Brasseaux, of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dennis Brasseaux; and his paternal grandparents, Alexis and Inez Tauzin. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday and continue on Friday at 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
