New Iberia ;- Funeral services will be at 6:30 PM, on Friday, March 20, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Duane Scott Fussell, 30, who passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2009 in Youngsville. ;

Born on June 16, 1978, Duane worked as a gas compressor mechanic. He enjoyed life, especially music and golf. ;

Survivors include his mother and step father, Kim and Lee LeBlanc of New Iberia; girlfriend, Mindy Rutledge and her children Morgan and McKenzie of Youngsville; grandmother, Sonya Needham of New Iberia; sisters, Nicole Katrones and Jennifer Katrones both of New Iberia; niece, Talia Katrones of New Iberia; aunts and uncles, Chris and Craig Nowell of New Iberia, Dwight and LeAnn Needham, Jr. of Loomas, CA, Dorie Needham of Palm Springs, CA, Robin Needham of New Iberia; cousins, Scotty Needham, Shane Spinelli, Dustin Tweety, Brandon Needham, Amanda Needham, Destiny Spinelli, and Landon Needham. ;

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dwight Needham, Sr.; great grandparents, Doris and Arlis Smith; uncle, Robert Needham. ;

A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 12 Noon until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. ;
