Dusty Michael Champagne

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, November 15, 2008, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Dusty Michael Champagne, 27, who died on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at his residence. Msgr. J. Douglas Courville will officiate at the funeral Mass. Dusty loved to fish, cook and spend time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Michelle Dugas Champagne, of Breaux Bridge; his parents, Henry Champagne Jr. and Sandy Touchet Champagne, of Lafayette; his 4 year old daughter, Hailey Champagne, of Breaux Bridge; a brother, Joel John Champagne, of Lafayette; and his paternal grandparents, Donna and Henry Champagne, Sr., of St. Martinville. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mildred and Elier Touchet; and two aunts, Geraldine Touchet and Earline Landry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 12 noon until 9 p.m. on Friday and continue at 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
