He was born on August 17th, 1970, in St. Martinville. Dwayne's greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends - he was a true family man. He cherished every single moment he spent with his loved ones. He loved having cookouts with his friends and enjoyed watching football. Dwayne's proudest accomplishment was the love he had for his nephews Carter and Jyron. He would often take them on rides on his scooter, which brought smiles to their faces each time.

Throughout his life, Dwayne maintained a positive outlook which enabled him to enjoy life to the fullest even in difficult circumstances. He was known for being carefree and always up for trying new things. Dwayne leaves behind a legacy of love and joy that will continue to impact those who knew him best even after his passing. His memory will be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him.

He is survived by his sisters, Vachel Joseph (James), Rachel Rhine (Wilbert), Lashundra Savoy, Natalie Babineaux; brothers, Willie Aubrey (Angela), Jude Aubrey (Shaqutta), Douglas Aubrey, and Tori Savoy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
