Dwight Ives

Breaux Bridge - Mr. Dwight Stone Ives, Jr., 87, formerly of Pearland, Texas, and a resident of Breaux Bridge, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 4600 Bellaire Blvd., Bellaire, TX.Mr. Ives was born in Port Jefferson, New York, on May 20, 1924. He was a veteran of World War II, having honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid golfer and welcomed the opportunity to play a round anytime he could. Mr. Ives enjoyed the company of his sons two dogs, Dolly and Primo; they were his favorite pets and faithful companions. He survived by his loving wife, Marian Bauer Ives of Breaux Bridge; two sons, Craig Ives and his wife, Beth Skinner, of Breaux Bridge, and Bryan Ives and his wife, Barbara Graef Ives of Sugar Land, Texas. He was preceded in death by his son, Dwight Stone Ives, III; and his parents, Dwight Stone Ives, Sr. and Irene Lynam Ives. Pellerin Funeral Home , (337.332.2111), is in charge of arrangements.
