Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Earl Maiben, Jr., 62, who passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at St. Martin Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10 am on Saturday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday. Fr. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Jasmine Edwards, Anitral Edwards, and Ashley Jones. Gift Bearers will be Racheal Maiben Hypolite and Jenny Journet. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Earl loved fishing and crabbing, going to the casino, and watching wrestling. He loved his family dearly, especially his cousins Ricky Gary, Sr. and Steven Fontenot. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Gotch Maiben; his son, Earl Maiben, III; three daughters, Racheal Hypolite, Melanie Boudreaux and husband, Jerry, and Chasity Maiben; nine grandchildren, Brittney Hypolite, Cody Hypolite, Sr., Janaisha Boudreaux, Jaylon Boudreaux, Javian Boudreaux, Dalaya Williams, Damion Williams, Dashyla Williams, and Charlie Jospeh; four great grandchildren, Tranerrius Hypolite, Demarkionna Johnson, Demarcus Johnson, Cody Hypolite, Jr.; his great aunt, Esterle Fontenot; nieces, Carol Young, Sarah Sylvester, Leanna Wise, Olivia Wallace, and Anna Marie Foots; nephew, Wilbert Wallace; and a host of great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Maiben, Sr. and Ethel Payne Maiben; a sister, Maxine Balka; and a brother, Lionel Foots. Pallbearers will be Ricky Gary, Sr., Ricky Gary, Jr., Peter Gerard, Steven Edwards, Willie Wallace, and Earl Edwards. Honorary Pallbearers will be Earl Maiben, III, Jerry Boudreaux, Jaylon Boudreaux, Javian Boudreaux, Byron Lee, Leonando Wise, Dorsey Mcquire, Jerrel Mcquire, and Issac Davis.
