Cecilia A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 pm, on Friday, February 20, 2015, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Earlie Jules Landry, Jr., 68, who passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the Funeral Service. Scriptures will be read by Jalyne Cole and Octavia Ledet. Gift Bearers will be Marcel Dalcourt and Madison Minix. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Earlie worked for Southern Pacific Railroad for over 30 years as a heavy equipment operator and was a Funeral Home Attendant at Pellerin Funeral Home for several years. He was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, where he served as an Usher and was a member of Knights of Peter Claver. As a pastime he enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, helping those in need, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by two sons, Dartamian Landry and his wife, Glenda, and Jarrett Landry and his fiance, Jalyne Cole, all of Cecilia; his daughter, Danielle Davis and her fianc, Coty Sampe, of Breaux Bridge; his brothers, Randy (Vera) Landry of California, Kevin (Melba) Ledet of Lafayette, Timothy (Florita) Ledet of Lafayette, and Leland (Sue) Landry of Lafayette; his sisters, Octavia Ledet and Shelia Celestine, both of Cecilia; and his grandchildren, Dartamian Landry, Jr. of Breaux Bridge, Marcel Dalcourt of Breaux Bridge, Kennedy Livings of Cecilia, Kristen Landry of Cecilia, Madison Minix of Breaux Bridge, Kennan Batiste of Cecilia, Kayleb Landry of Cecilia, and Mylan Marks of Breaux Bridge; He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Georgia Landry; and his parents, Helen Ledet and Earlie Jules Landry, Sr. Pallbearers will be Lucas Roberts, Justin Ledet, Allen Ledet, Leland Isaac Landry, Martin Alexander, Roma Celestine, Eddie Williams Jr., and Leviticus Ledet.
