Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 4, 2024 at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Mary Earline Hebert, 86, who passed away on February 29, 2024 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Sunday from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and will continue on Monday from 7:00 am to 10:45 am.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Sunday by Deacon Butch Hebert.
Father Reed Bellingham will officiate at the funeral mass. Readers will be Chelsi Nelson and Gracie Fulmer.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
Earline was born on December 28, 1937 in Breaux Bridge. She lived a life filled with simple joys and cherished moments. She found great pleasure in the little things - from watching her favorite TV show "Wheel of Fortune" to solving challenging crossword puzzles. Her eyes would light up whenever family and friends gathered around her, sharing stories and creating new memories together.
She had a special bond with her loyal companion, her dog Gobby, whose wagging tail brought endless joy into her life. Their friendship was a true testament to the unconditional love she had to give.
Earline will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Craig Thibodeaux (Celeste) and Kelly Thibodeaux (Nicole); daughters, Lisa Hendricks (Dana) and Mona Thibodeaux; brothers, Russell Peltier and Ronnie Peltier (Kathy); sisters, Nell Harson and Marel Thibodeaux (Keno); grandchildren, Kali Babineaux (Seth), Leslie Hendricks, Laurie (Alan) Andie, Chelsi Nelson (Chance), Carmen Thibodeaux and Cameron Thibodeaux; 8 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her spouse, Jerry Hebert; parents, Charles and Isabelle Frederick Peltier; brother, Sterling Peltier; and her granddaughter, Sasha Hendricks.
Pallbearers will be Craig Thibodeaux, Kelly Thibodeaux, Keno Thibodeaux, Seth Babineaux, Cameron Thibodeaux and Brenner Babineaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be Carmen Thibodeaux, Gracie Fulmer and Breck Babineaux.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
