Henderson A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm, on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Edmay Marie LeBlanc Amy, 90, who passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 pm Monday and continue until 1:00 pm on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Monday. Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Jamie Courville and Jennifer Huval. Gift Bearers will be her great grandchildren. Music will be provided by Pope Huval accompanied by Pat Melancon, organist. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Edmay was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She is survived by her son, Wayne Amy and his wife, Theresa; her daughter, Gail Amy Courville and her husband, Herman; her grandchildren, Christine Huval Walet and her husband, Danny, Kevin Courville, Karla Courville Hector and her husband, Johnny, Craig Huval and his wife, Kristie, Kasey Courville and his wife, Jamie, and Cody Huval and his wife, Jennifer; her great grandchildren, Myles Hebert and his wife, Nico, Abbi Walet, Ali Hebert, Gabrielle Hector, Connor Walet, Kylie Huval, Ethan Courville, Lane Courville, Abigail Gaudin, and Annabelle Huval; and her great-great grandchildren, Hayden Hebert, Quinten Etie, and Drew Hebert. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Amelia Patin LeBlanc; her husband, Wesley Martin Amy; her daughter, Peggy Amy Huval; two infant sons; one infant daughter; her sisters, Alvina Stewart, Solange Hayes, and Cecile Hebert; and her brothers, Aristille LeBlanc and Steven LeBlanc. Pallbearers will be Wayne Amy, Kevin Courville, Craig Huval, Kasey Courville, Cody Huval, Myles Hebert, and Connor Walet. Honorary pallbearers will be Ward Stewart, Randy Guidry, Herman Courville, Louis Huval, Danny Walet, Johnny Hector, Curley LeBlanc, Jerry Wiltz, Huet Hebert, and Myrk Hebert.
