Edmay Julian Tolliver

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2006, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Edmay Julian Tolliver, 88, who died Saturday, February 4, 2006 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Mrs. Tolliver was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. Survivors include five sons, Montgomery Tolliver, Jr. of Houston, TX, Sherman Tolliver of Houston, TX, Bennett Tolliver of Breaux Bridge, Sylvester S. Tolliver of Arnaudville, and Alfred Tolliver of Breaux Bridge; six daughters, Clarisse Calais of Breaux Bridge, Lucille Tolliver of Houston, TX, Barbara Ann Zenon of Lafayette, Barbara Jean Thomas of Breaux Bridge, Estella Ames of Houston, TX, and Christine Tolliver of Cecilia; one brother, Frederick Julian of Arnaudville; forty-seven grandchildren; one hundred great grandchildren; and twenty great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Montgomery Tolliver, Sr.; her daughter, Priscilla Tolliver; her parents, Valine and Clarisse Ruffin Julian; four brothers; and one sister. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited Saturday morning. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
