Edna Mae Babineaux

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Leonville- Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, May 28, 2009, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, for Edna Mae Deranger Babineaux, 76, who passed away on Monday, May 25, 2009 at her residence. Interment will follow at St. Leo the Great Mausoleum in Leonville. Mrs. Babineaux was a parishioner of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. Survivors include two sons, Phillip Babineaux of Lafayette, and Ernest Babineaux and his wife, Sally, of Pecaniere; two daughters, Dolores Babineaux of Lafayette, and Paula B. Fontenot and her husband, Jimmy, of Pecaniere; one brother, Al Deranger of Orange, TX; one sister, Alice Devillier, of Dutchtown, LA; and two grandchildren, Brian David Fontenot and Andrew Paul Babineaux. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Babineaux; and her parents, Dennis and Francois Mayer Deranger; one brother, Andrew Lanclos; one sister, Marie Lalonde; and a granddaughter, Katie Babineaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Arnaudville from 12 noon until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
