Edna Dupuis

BreauxBridge - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, October 22, 2010, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Edna Tyler Dupuis, 92, who passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum No. 1 in Breaux Bridge . Fr. Allen Breaux will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Mrs. Dupuis was a parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge where she was a frequent adorer in the chapel of Perpetual Adoration, a member of the Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking, and looked forward to spending time with her family, especially for their reunions. Valentines Day was always a very special day to her. Edna was a very proud supporter of the New Orleans Saints football team and loved watching them win their first Super Bowl. Survivors include three sons, Darwin Dupuis and his wife, Jackie, of St. Louis, MO, Orrin Dupuis and his wife, Shirley, Eno Christopher Dupuis, and his wife, Kerry, all of Breaux Bridge; her daughter, Sandra Sheridan and her husband, Paul, of Springfield, MO; 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eno Dupuis; her parents, Joseph and Azama Dumesnil Tyler; two brothers, Joseph Tyler, Jr. and Lennis Tyler; a sister, Annette Tyler; and two grandsons, Errin Dupuis and Shephen Sheridan. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11 a .m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 7 a .m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pall Bearers will Ryan Dupuis, Jason Dupuis, Andr(c) Dupuis, Pierre Dupuis, Peter Sheridan, and P.J. Sheridan. Honorary pall bearers will be Adley Dupuis, John Dupuis, Paul Sheridan, Terry Tyler, David Sheridan, Ian Sheridan, and Christopher Dupuis.
