New Iberia - Memorial services will be held at ;10:00 AM, ;Friday, April 19, 2013 at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Edward 'Mr. Ed' Kimbrough, Jr., 66, who died Sunday, April 14, 2013 in New Iberia, LA. ;Rev. David Denton of Highland Baptist will officaite the service.
;Born on July 17, 1946 in Norfolk, Virginia, Mr. Ed retired as Chief Master Sergeant, US Air Force Reserve, after serving our country on multiple tours of duty, including Vietnam. He also, retired as Fire Chief from the Benton, LA Fire Department. Mr. Ed was on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Motor Transportation Association and a member of the VFW. He has worked for Plains Marketing for over 37 years, currently as their Gulf Coast Division - Senior Safety Manager. Those who knew Mr. Ed, knew he loved fire trucks and Indy Car Racing but, his passion in life was his work. He was very well respected among his 'work family'and will be greatly missed.
;Survivors include his wife, Ann Baggett Kimbrough of Jacksboro, TX; his brother, John Kimbrough of Spokane, WA; his step sons, Trampas Yoder , wife Kammie of Jermyn, TX, Dr. Grady Yoder, wife Tracy of Abilene, TX; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; his special friends, Scobie Wilcoxon, Wade Geurin and all his Plains friends.
