Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 7, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Edward Anthony Roberts,62, who died Monday, July 3, 2006 at his residence in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Roberts was a member of the Evangeline Shriner Club of Lafayette, the Habbi Temple in Lake Charles, the Howard Masonic Lodge No. 69 in Mobile, Alabama and the Breaux Bridge Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Barbara L. Roberts of Breaux Bridge; his mother, Aletha Lucille Roberts of Hurley, MS; his sons, Kevin Anthony Roberts of Chicago, IL Jack Joseph Roberts III of Reynosa, Tamps, Mexico and his wife, Lorena and Shane Clifford Roberts of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Clifford Roberts of Hurley, MS; his sisters, Doris Harmon of Orlando, FL, Winnie Ladnier of Lucedale, MS and Tina Marie Pettway of Columbia, SC. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Joseph Roberts, Sr. and his brother, Jack Joseph Roberts, Jr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 5, 2006 until 10:00 PM, 10:00 AM Thursday, July 6, 2006 until 10:00 PM and continue at 8:00 AM, Friday, July 7, 2006 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 6, 2006. Pallbearers will be Kevin Roberts, Jack Roberts, Shane Roberts, Clifford Roberts, Mike Serrette and Jerry Ladnier. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Pettway, Maurice Castania, J.D. Pettway, Jerry Ladnier, Tony Harmon and Tyler Ventress. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
