Elaine M. Mullen

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Elaine Martin Mullen, 84, who died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at her residence in St. Martinville. Entombment will be in St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Mrs. Mullen was a faithful and active member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville. Survivors include three sons, Arthur Mullen and Victor Mullen, both of Anderson, S.C. and Patrick Mullen of Montgomery, TX; one brother, Edwin Martin of Arkadelphia, AR; three sisters, Lucy Sue Martin and Cynthia Maraist, both of St. Martinville and Mary Pitman of New Iberia; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Mullen; her parents, Emile and Lottie Diehl Martin; her grandson, Timothy Mullen; two brothers, William and Buddy Martin; two sisters, Alice Martin and Francis Standridge; her paternal grandparents, Marie Francoise Barras and Emile Martin; and her maternal grandparents, William Henry Diehl and Nora Fleming. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 7:30 AM on Saturday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Saturday.
