Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at Pellerin Funeral Home, 211 Berard St., Breaux Bridge for Elaine Montet Nickel, 75, who died Sunday, July 16, 2006 at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Survivors include her son, James Brooke Nickel and his wife, Melissa of Lafayette; her daughter, Jodie Nickel Inwood and her husband, Scott of Chicago, IL; her sister, Verley M. Serrette and her husband, Connie of Henderson; her grandchildren, Jake Ryan Jeoffroy and Brooke Abigail Nickel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mabry C.J. Nickel; her father, Bertmost Montet and her mother, Lota D. Montet. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4 pm till 9 pm Tuesday, July 18, 2006 and continue at 8 am, Wednesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, July 19, 2006 The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Acadiana, St. Agnes Nursing Home and Kingsley Place Retirement Home. ??A special thanks to her hospice nurse, Jo Doucet.
