Elaine Benoit Olivier

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Elaine Benoit Olivier, 63, who passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at her residence in Arnaudville. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Fr. Lloyd Benoit, will conduct the services. Mrs. Elaine enjoyed cooking and treasured the time she shared with her family. Survivors include her son, Charles Carroll Olivier; her daughters, Arlene Marie Olivier Richard and her husband, Shane Richard, Theresa Ann Olivier and her companion, Ronnie Kidder, and Della Elaine Olivier Pontiff and her husband, Luke Pontiff, Jr.; her brother, John Larry Benoit and his wife, Tina, all of Arnaudville; her godchild and niece, Jennifer Benoit of Baton Rouge; her grandchildren, Tabatha Celine Kidder, Chelsea Marie Richard, Jamie Nicole Dailey, Cody Paul Carriere, Jordi Lane Olivier, Lance Michael Richard and Carlo Anthony Olivier; her step-grandchildren, Luke Pontiff III, Dylan Pontiff and Alex Pontiff; and her great-grandchild, Cohen Roberson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Anthony Olivier, her parents, Clement and Sedonia Castille Benoit; her son, Harold Anthony Olivier, Jr.; her brothers, Lee and Carrol Benoit; and her sister, Della Benoit. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.Tuesday. Pallbearers will be her son, Charles Olivier, and her grandsons, Lance Richard, Jordi Olivier, Carlo Olivier, Cody Carriere and Joshua Roberson. Honorary pallbearers will be her step grandson, Luke Pontiff III. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
