Parks - Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks, LA, for Elaine Marie Boudreaux Richard, 64, who left to join the angels on Friday, October 18, 2013 at her home surrounded by loved ones after a brief illness. Rev. Donavan Labbe will be the celebrant. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks, LA. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Elaine was born January 2, 1949, the first child of Dieu Donne and Mary Lou Boudreaux. She worked for The Food N Fun Company for many years, both in the stores and Human Resources Department. She enjoyed reading, traveling, fishing and playing pool with the American Pool Association. Her greatest joy was to be surrounded by family and friends. She will be remembered for her caring nature, her constant smile, and her wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her son, Chad Wiltz and his wife, Brandy; two daughters, Amy Louviere and her husband, Mike and Tina Marie Richard; two sisters, Susan Hardy and Glenda Latiolais and her husband, Kelsie; and her best friend, Kathleen Devillier, all of Breaux Bridge; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and her precious cat, Ming Ming. She is preceded in death by her father, Dieu Donne Boudreaux; her mother, Mary Lou Hebert Boudreaux; one brother, Blake James Boudreaux; and her infant daughter, Kim Marie Wiltz. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heart of Hospice, especially to Nurse Shelby and to the caregivers from Allied Medicine, especially to Otelia Berard, Celia Dexter, and Jeanette White for their loving care and compassion.
