Elda Champagne

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Monday, March 14, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Elda Webbe Champagne, 100, who passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at St. Martin Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:30 am until 10:45 am on Monday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 am on Monday. Fr. Brian Webre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Kathy Treadway. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. She is survived by her son, Cecil Champagne and wife Charlette of Nederland, TX; grandchildren, Kathy C. Treadway, David Champagne, Carl Champagne, Janet Champagne LeBlanc, Steve Svendsen, and Tina Svendsen; and her great grandchildren, Christopher Pitre, Holly Champagne, Collin Champagne, Cody Champagne, Bailey LeBlanc, Peyton LeBlanc, Brendan Cartwright, and Kenneth Poche. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Champagne, Sr.; her parents, Robert and Devine Breaux Webbe; her sister, Lucy W. Guidry; and a son, James E. Champagne. Pallbearers will be Renel Babineaux, Steffon Constantine, Roger Babineaux, Steve Svendsen, David Champagne, and Garland Treadway.
