Breaux Bridge A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:30 pm, on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Elise Blanchard, 91, who passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge from 7:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 am Tuesday by Leon Blanchard. Rev. David Broussard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reading the scriptures will be Maranda Wiltz. Serving as gift bearers will be Kimmie Louviere and Donna Wiltz. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Miss Blanchard was a loving and caring person, a true caregiver. She loved to pray the rosary. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Pete Wiltz and his wife Verna, John Allen Wiltz and his wife Donna and Terry Lee Wiltz and his wife Glenda, her daughter, Lena Wiltz Quebedeaux and her husband Jimmy, her sister, Alena Belaire, her half-brother, Leon Blanchard and his wife, Rose, her half-sister, Ozeaue Theriot and her husband, Clarence, her grandchildren, Troy James Wiltz, Tammy Ann Landry, Michael Latiolais, Brooke Wiltz, Amy Louviere and Chad James Wiltz, and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Paulin Blanchard, Sr., mother, Alena Robert Blanchard, 1st husband, John Wiltz, 2nd husband, Remy Mason and 10 brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be Troy James Wiltz, Michael Latiolais, Chad James Wiltz, Bryson Matt, Scott Landry, Todd Wiltz and Logan Latiolais.
