Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, April 19, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Elizabeth 'Liz' Angelle Trahan, 58, who passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013 at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 am until 10 pm on Thursday, and continue on Friday at 8 am until 9:45 am, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday. Rev. Donald Pousson will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Sharon Gail Delahousssaye and Micki Trahan. Gift Bearers will be Connie Savoy, Hallie Guidry, and ;Cheryl Guidry. ;Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum.Liz was the owner and operator of Liz Trahan Dance Studio in Cecilia for 34 years. She was a wonderful and devoted daughter, wife, and mother, and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Survivors include her loving husband, Reilly Trahan; her parents, Cecil 'Goose' and Bunice Savoy Angelle; her son, Jordy Trahan (Hollie Pitts); and her daughter, Simone Trahan Cohn (Kevin). Pallbearers will be Jordy Trahan, Andr Huval, Bruce Guidry, Carson Hamilton, Ji Angelle, and Kevin Cohn. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
