Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 12, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Ella Joseph, 81, who passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday. Ella was a very happy and loving person who enjoyed watching television and in prior years, loved to help her mother cook and do chores around the home. Ella had a very strong love for her family, and they will miss her dearly. She is survived by her sisters, Helen Thomas of Broussard and Bertha Clement of Breaux Bridge; brother, Presley Joseph, Jr. and wife Georgia of Cecilia; nieces, Amy Alexander and spouse Joseph Solomon, Laura Constantine and spouse Daquandrick Etienne, Cierra Constantine and spouse Romell Brooks; and nephews, Fernand Berard, Jr., Allen Berard, Kenneth Joseph, and Curtis Joseph. She was preceded in death by her parents, Presley Joseph, Sr. and Amy Peter Joseph; sister, Mary Ann Berard; brothers-in-law, Herbert Thomas, Fernand "Sterling" Berard, Sr., and Lawrence Clement.
