New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM , Wednesday, April 4, 2012 , at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Elmine Delcambre Theriot, 92, who passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012 in New Iberia . Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd , in New Iberia . Visitation will continue Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM . Born on January 31, 1920 in New Iberia , Ms. Theriot was the daughter of Remy and Egladie Hebert Delcambre. Survivors include her son, Rene A. DeBlanc, III of New Iberia; nephews, Kent Delcambre and wife Margaret of New Iberia, Wayne Delcambre and wife Mary of Youngsville; friends, Lynn Oubre and wife Lynette of Broussard, and Nell Menard of New Iberia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Theriot; a brother, Frank Delcambre; and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Johnson DeBlanc. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
