Eloise Bourgeois Bienvenu

St. Martinville- Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Eloise Bourgeois Bienvenu, 90, who died Monday, August 1, 2005 at St. Martin Nursing and Rehab in St. Martinville. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mrs. Bienvenu was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and the AARP. Survivors include her daughter, Laurie Bourque and her husband, Jerry of Lafayette; her brother, Lester Bourgeois, Sr. of Schriever, LA; her sister, Lillian Myers of Thibodaux, LA; three grandchildren, Kim Strong, Amy Primeaux, and Julie Bourque; three great grandchildren; and twenty-seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ward Bienvenu; her parents Valerie and Julia Thibodeaux Bourgeois; her sister, Julia Carver; and her brothers, Valerie, Jr., Clarence, Lawrence and Harold Bourgeois. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 5 PM 10 PM on Tuesday and continue at 8 AM on Wednesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 PM Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Lester Bourgeois, Jr., Bernard Breaux, John Bourgeois, George Laughlin, Jerry Bourque, and Donald Bourgeois. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
