Eloise Helen Louise Aline Domangue

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Eloise Helen Louise Aline Domangue, 80, who passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017, in New Iberia. A gathering of family and friends will be 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Pastor Bryan Seymore will be the Officiant. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery in Jeanerette. Eloise Helen Louise Aline Domangue was a native of Charenton and a longtime resident of New Iberia. She was born on November 23, 1936, and was the eighth of ten children born to the late Jean Baptiste and Lorena Domingue. Helen, as she was commonly called, loved life; she especially enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She was a God-fearing lady who gave her life to God many years ago, and often participated in Bible studies. She was very independent and loved by so many who will miss her deeply. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all of her doctors that took such good care of Helen. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Acadiana Home Care and Amedisys Hospice for excellent care and concern shown to our sister in Christ. Helen is survived by daughters, Veronica "Brandy" Smalling and husband Rondal of Indianapolis, IN, Leeverne Hickey, and Windy Blanchard and husband Shane, all of New Iberia; sons, Richard LeDoux and wife Beverly of Indianapolis, IN, William LeDoux and wife Marian of Sulphur, LA; sister, Viola Stevens and husband Leonard of Jeanerette; brothers, Clarence Domingue of New Iberia, and Simon "Mack" Domingue and wife Annette of Breaux Bridge; a half sister, Patricia; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marianna LeDoux Crawford, six sisters, and four brothers. Pallbearers will be George Hickey II, Cory Johnson, Charles Naylor, Jeremy Smalling, Shane Blanchard, and Rondal Smalling, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, (337-365-3331) is in charge of arrangements.
