Elrick Joseph Taylor Sr.

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 31, 2005, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Elrick Joseph Taylor, Sr., 88, who died Friday, October 28, 2005 at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Survivors include three sons, Albert Taylor and Murnest Taylor, both of Arnaudville, and Elrick Taylor, Jr. of Opelousas; four daughters, Lolena Cuveas of Mississippi, Doresa Stelly, Annette Hebert, and Earline Taylor, all of Arnaudville; his brother, Harold Taylor of Lawtell; three sisters, Nita Taylor, Evelyn Taylor, both of Arnaudville, and Thelma Guidry of Port Barre; thirty-eight grandchildren; sixty-five great grandchildren; an fourteen great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marselita Sanchon Taylor; his daughter, Ellarose Stelly; his sons, Alex Taylor, Sr. and Leo Taylor; and his parents, Leo and Ella Guidry Taylor. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
