Elsie C. Malorin

Elsie C. Malorin, 76, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Elsie Courville Malorin was born in Lafayette, LA to the late Theodore and Amelia Melancon Courville. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, reading books, going to the casino, and spending time with family and friends. Elsie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support, especially, Jerilyn Broussard, Sonnye Doucet, Ronnie and Betty Thibodeaux, Karen and Mary Courville, and Louanna and Tommy Eddy. She is survived by her loving spouse of 60 years, John Malorin; four children, John Terry Malorin and spouse Sabrina, Sandra Malorin, Jude Malorin, and Jody Anthony Malorin; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one sister, Louanna Eddy and husband Tommy; and one brother, Clifford Courville. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and two brothers. The family will have a private service at a later date.
