Elsie Ann Dugas Roy

Parks- Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 17, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks for Elsie Dugas Roy, 86, who died Thursday, December 15, 2005 at St. Agnes Nursing Home and Rehab in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Roy was a member of the Parks Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed being with other people. Survivors include her daughters, Aline Hollier and her husband, Earl of Breaux Bridge, Karen Resweber and her husband, Stephen ""Scooter"" of Grand Isle, and Brenda Patin and her husband, Ricky of Destin, FL; her brother, Grady Dugas of Parks; her sisters, Rita Story of Parks and Maydel Sanders of Lafayette; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Roy; her parents, John and Mathilde Judice Dugas; and her five treasured brothers and one treasured sister. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 am Saturday, December 17, 2005 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am Saturday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
