Emiel Laga

New Iberia - Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Dr. Emiel Laga, 81, who passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017, in New Iberia. A longtime resident of New Iberia, Dr. Laga was born on July 13, 1935 in Belgium to the late Omer Laga and Maria Decherf Laga. He was an area pathologist having performed countless autopsies for hospitals and coroner's offices throughout the years. Survivors include his siblings, Ludgardis Laga, Koenraad Laga, and Godelieve Laga. Survivors also include several nieces and nephews.
