Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm , on Thursday, July 18, 2013 , at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge, for Emily Castille Breaux, 68, who passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013 . The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Wednesday and continue at 7:00 am until 1:30 pm on Thursday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Deacon Marcel Hebert will officiate at the funeral service. Reading the scriptures will be Christi Lasseigne and Jenise Lasseigne. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge . Mrs. Breaux had a passion for cooking. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed the company of her precious dogs. She also valued the company of her best friend, Ethel 'Bird' Guillory. Her nieces took great care of her especially Stephanie Barras, Sheila Prejean, Jenise Lasseigne and Vickie Landry. She is survived by her sons, Jimmie Roger, Jr. of Lafayette and Chad Rogers of Breaux Bridge; her daughter, Selina (Rodney) Miller of Breaux Bridge; her brothers, Lin (Renate) Berard of Breaux Bridge, Patrick (Rennella) Castille of Breaux Bridge, Charles (Jean) Berard of Charleston, SC, and Joseph "Kite" (Joanne) Jeansonne of Lafayette; her sisters, Gloria (Joseph) Stout of Breaux Bridge and Velma Breaux of Lafayette; her brother in law, Wesley Barras of Parks; her grandchildren, Noni (Jeremy) Robert, Sadi Miller and fianc, Perry Bourque, Amber (Gavin) Legere, Joshua J. Roger, Victor Rogers and Jennifer Rogers; 5 great grandchildren; her former husbands, Donald Verrette and the father of her children, Jimmie Roger, Sr.; and her faithful canine companions, Zake and Putput. She is preceded in death by her father, John Danville Castille, her mother, Celine Jeansonne Castille, her husband, Preston Breaux, and numerous brothers, sisters and family members. Pallbearers will be Eddie Barras, Kevin Barras, Charles Domingue, Josh Roger, Josh Prejean and Mark Prejean. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmie 'Boogie' Roger, Jr., Rodney Miller, Wesley Barras, Patrick Castille and Chris Lasseigne.
