Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Emily Huval Dupuis, 79, who passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at St. Martin Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge from 10:30 am until 9:00 pm on Friday and continue at 7:00 am until 9:30 am on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm on Friday. Father Paul LaFleur will officiate at the funeral service. Reading the scriptures will be Ashley Serrett Dubbelde and Caroline Serrett. Gift bearers will be Nicholas Dupuis, Tyler Dupuis, Michael Serrett and Ashley Serrett Dubbelde. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Mrs. Dupuis was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. Her faith was very important to her. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed watching television. She also belonged to a rosary group from St. Martinville. She is survived by her son, Ricky (Debbie) Dupuis of Breaux Bridge, her daughter, Nancy (Dwight) Serrett of Houston, TX, her brother, Kat Latiolias of Breaux Bridge, her sister, Ida Mae (Joseph Macy) Usie of Breaux Bridge, her grandchildren, Michael (Caroline) Serrett, Tyler Dupuis, Nicholas Dupuis, Ashley Serrett (Casey) Dubbelde, her great grandchildren, William Serrett and Benjamin Serrett. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Dupuis and her parents, Liney and Martha Collette Huval. Pallbearers will be Michael Serrett, Tyler Dupuis, Nicholas Dupuis, Dwight Serrett, Casey Dubbelde and Randy Usie.
