Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 30, 2009, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Enola Lewis Abraham, 88, who passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Rev. James Fallon, Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Church will conduct the service. Readers will be Mrs. Dana Augusta and Ms. Kristi Abraham. Mrs. Abraham was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary # 49. She enjoyed cooking for her family, collecting antiques, playing bingo and trips to the casino. Mrs. Abraham enjoyed most of all, attending her Mass. Survivors include her sons, Lawrence Abraham, Jr., John D. Abraham (Marie) and Donald Abraham all of Houston, TX; her daughters, Verlie Batiste of Houston, TX, Lawrenzia Lewis (Robert) of Dayton Beach, FL, Patricia Wiltz of Houston, TX and Delores Abraham of Titusville, FL; her brother, Leroy Lewis (Ernestine) of Houston, TX; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Abraham, Sr.; her parents, Gabriel and Laurenzia Fontenot Lewis; her brothers, Walter, Allen, Clarence, Paul and John Lewis; her sisters, Noelie LeBlanc and Eva Alexander; one great-grandchild, Eric Batiste. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Demeterious Abraham, Reginald Abraham, Keith Green, Robert Lewis, Sr., Brian Lewis and Clifton Batiste, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
