Breaux Bridge A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, on Monday, October 7, 2013, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Enola Dupuis Calais, 93, who passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013, at St. Martin Hospital.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday and continue at 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Monday.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday.
Rev. Donald Pelous will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reading the scriptures for the service will be Linda Hebert and Baylie D. Hebert. Gift bearers will be Baylie D. Hebert, Matthew Vaughn and Casey Hebert. Music will be provided by Emmaline and Charlie Thibodeaux accompanied by Beth Hebert, organist.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge.
Mrs. Calais was a parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church and a former member of the Catholic Daughters. She lived for bowling and Sr. Olympics, being a participant representing St. Martin Parish for many years. She enjoyed cooking and fishing. She lived her life to the fullest till the end.
She is survived by her daughter, Veronica (Vickie) Hebert and her husband, Hubert, of Breaux Bridge, her grandchildren, Chad Hebert, and his wife, Linda, and Casey Hebert, her great grandchild, Baylie D. Hebert.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry J. Calais, her parents, Roaul and Eloise Castille Dupuis, and her son, Joseph Calais.
Pallbearers will be Chad Hebert, Casey Hebert, Matthew Vaughn, Ronald Dupuis, Russell Calais and Richard Fredette.
Honorary pallbearer will be Clifford Hebert.
