Enola Green Castille

; Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, October 06, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Enola "Toot" Green Castille, 89, who passed away on Friday, October 3, 2008 at her residence in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Allen Breaux, assistant pastor of St. Bernard Church, will conduct the services. Gift bearers are Sherry Castille and Miria Castille. Enola loved to cook, bake and be surrounded by family and those she could feed with her tasty food. She was married to Francis "Paput" Castille for 69 years. She worked with the St. Martin Parish school cafeteria system for 25 years. Enola was a member of the St. Bernard Altar Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Francis "Paput" Castille of Breaux Bridge; her sons, Dennis Castille and his wife, Sherry of Lafayette and Richard Castille and his wife, Miria of Friendswood, TX; her sisters, Annie Hopkins of Lafayette, Lillian Angelle, Edith Turner and Lou Clay all of Breaux Bridge; a special niece who was like a daughter, Nancy Hebert and a special great granddaughter, Amber Castille; 6 grandsons, Brian, Kevin, Jason, Andy, Keith and Chad Castille; 4 step grandchildren, Chuck and Lee Marquette, Hayley Berghman and Brandi Eldred; 7 great-grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Armand and Lucille Broussard Green; and her brothers, Alton, James and John Green. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10: 00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2008 and continue at 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Brian, Kevin, Jason, Andy, Keith and Chad Castille. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Ste. 200, Lafayette, LA 70503. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
