Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. , on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 , at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Enola Savoy Smith, 82, who passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Belle Teche Nursing Home in New Iberia . Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Fr. Michael Delcambre, pastor of St. Joseph , will conduct the services. Reading the scriptures for the service will be Aggie Smith. Baylii Thomassee and Peyton Angelle will serve as giftbearers. Survivors include her son, Clay Smith and his wife, Aggie of New Iberia; her daughters, Sandra Thomassee and her husband, Nolan of Cecilia, Linda Hime of New Iberia and Lillie Ann McNett and her husband, Marty of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Steven Smith, Megan Smith, Samantha Smith, Michelle T. Angelle (her husband, Dean), Dwayne Thomassee (his wife, Tracie), Nolan 'Noonie' Thomassee, Jr. (his wife Nicole), Athena S. Davidson (her husband, Mark), Ryan Stelly (his wife, Martha), Patrick McNett (his wife, Cheri), Kaylee McNett, Alison McNett and Morgan McNett; her great grandchildren, Peyton Angelle, Baylii Thomassee, Baysn Thomassee, Elijah Stelly, Jeremiah Galaviz, Madison McNett and Braxton McNett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delton Smith; an infant son; her parents, Clay and Laurence Goulas Savoy; her brothers, Gussie , Henry, and Wilfred Savoy; and her sisters, Mable Domingue, Emma Trahan, Shirley Fischer and Agnes Savoy; son-in-law, Charles (C.J.) Hime; grandchildren, Michael Smith, Kathryn Smith; great grandchildren, Brody Thomassee and Brianna Davidson. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until time 9:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pallbearers will be Marty McNett, Patrick McNett, Dwayne Thomassee, Nolan 'Noonie' Thomassee, Jr., Steven Smith and Ryan Stelly. Honorary pallbearers will be Nolan Thomassee, Sr., Peyton Angelle, and Elijah Stelly. The family wishes to express their thanks to Belle Teche and Hospice of Acadiana for their support.
