Ermina Knott Taylor

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Ermina Knott Taylor, 90, who passed away on Monday, October 27, 2008 at Opelousas General Hospital. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Fr. Keenan Brown, Pastor, will officiate at the funeral Mass. Survivors include her son, Preston J. Taylor, of Arnaudville; one sister, Alma Badeaux, of Leonville; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee B. Taylor; her parents, Gustave and Margarite Guidry Knott; two sons, Newton J. and Carroll Lee Taylor; three sisters, Hermine Olivier, Ulide Myers, and Gladys Hebert; and four brothers, Maurice, Madaire, Moise, and Wade Knott, Sr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
