Ernest Paul Theriot

St. Martinville - A private graveside service will be held for Ernest Paul Theriot, 72, who passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020. Ernest was born on May 1, 1947 to Louis and Anna Menard Theriot. Ernest was a member of the Army Reserves and was employed with Texaco for 35 years. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his children, Micko Theriot and wife Nadine of Breaux Bridge, Iris Peltier and husband Scottie of New Iberia, Thomas Theriot, Sr. and wife Betty of Catahoula, Anna Robin and husband James of Catahoula, and Jerry Theriot of Catahoula; step children, Kay Howell and husband Roy of Mamou, Lynette Marcantel and husband Andre "Mayo" of Ville Platte, Nicol Romero and husband David Savoy of Mamou; step son-in-law, Walter Manuel of Mamou; siblings, Laurent Theriot and wife Linda of Parks, Leroy Theriot of Parks, Bernice Theriot of Parks, Rena Delcambre of New Iberia, Merlin Theriot and wife Angelina of Parks, and Rebecca Angelle of Breaux Bridge; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; and 12 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Theriot; parents, Louis and Anna Menard Theriot; brothers, Louis Theriot, Sr. and Howard Theriot; sisters, Ruby Theriot and Lucielle Latiolais; and stepdaughter, Tina Manuel.
