A native of New Iberia, Mr. Viator was born on July 21, 1941, to the late Warren Adam Viator and Aimee Cecile Carret. He was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High School, and proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy, during the Vietnam War. Errol traveled all over the world for National Oilwell Varco, where he worked for over 35 years. Throughout his extensive travels, he gained invaluable experiences and formed lifelong friendships with colleagues.
Errol had an innate ability to connect with others. He never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His generous spirit touched countless lives throughout the years. Family meant everything to Errol, and he made sure they always felt loved and supported.
Errol possessed a remarkable talent for repairs and had an incredible knack for creativity. He could take an old, discarded object and transform it into something entirely new and useful. His resourcefulness was admired by many, and he earned a reputation as someone who could fix anything that came his way.
