Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 18, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, in Breaux Bridge for Essie Johnson Robin, 84, who died Friday, June 15, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Allen Breaux, associate pastor of St. Bernard Church will conduct the services. ?Readers will be Virginia Johnson and Vickie Thibodeaux. Gift bearers will be Kathie and Olivia Huval, and Faye Boyer. Survivors include her son, Louis ""June"" Robin, Jr. and his wife, Aline; her daughter, Edith Robin Boyer and her husband, Addie, all of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Pearl J. Tauzin and Eve J. Fontenot, both of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Kenneth Boyer and his wife, Faye, Kathie Boyer Huval and her husband, Tony, and Perry Boyer, and his wife, Kelly; seven great grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelous and Virginia Courville Johnson; her husband, Louis Robin, Sr.; ?three brothers, Whidley, Wilbert, and Aldus Johnson; and one sister, Agnes Daigle. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Boyer, Perry Boyer, Justin Huval, Travis Boyer, Eric Boyer, and Cody Boyer. Honorary pallbearers will be Drake Boyer and Tony Huval. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
