St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Estelle R. Verret, 86, who passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at her residence.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in St. Martinville on Saturday from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 12:30 pm. A Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am on Saturday morning.
Pastors Kenneth and Stephanie Leleux will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula.
Estelle was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be remembered for her warm smile and her love for her family. She found joy in her many passions like crocheting, sewing, baking, making jewelry and gardening. She was known for her nurturing spirit and kind demeanor. Estelle was a woman of many talents and she was a welcoming presence to all who crossed her path. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Barras (Mervin); sons, Ferril Verret (Carla), Vernon Verret (Monique), Laverne Verret and Shane Verret (Laurie); step-son, Errol Verret; grandchildren, Tracy Barras, Adrian Barras Odonnell (David), Laine Barras (Jordy), Nicole Arceneaux (Matt), Logan Verret (Ashley), Luke Verret, Morgan Verret, Myles Verret, Lee Verret and Laken Verret; step-grandchildren, Josh Verret (Heather) and Rachel Verret-Domingue (Brent); great-grandchildren, Owen, Cole, Charli, Jackson, Mckenna, Sawyer and Ashton; and step-great-grandchildren, Seth and Kelen.
She is preceded in death by her son, Trellis Verret; grandsons, Jesse and Jordan Verret; step-daughter-in-law, Beth Verret; parents, Randal Robert and Anita Duhon Robert; sister, Mattie Simon; and brothers, Harold Robert and Gerald Robert.
Pallbearers will be Ferril Verret, Vernon Verret, Laverne Verret, Shane Verret, Errol Verret and Mervin Barras.
