Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Euclide Theriot, 83, who died Monday, May 29, 2006 at his residence.
Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Mr. Theriot was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 289, the V.F.W. and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Yula L. "Yula Mae" Theriot of Parks; his daughters, Barbara Theriot of Mire, and Diane LeGrand and her husband, Russell of Henderson; his brother, Harris Theriot of Parks; five grandchildren, Craig Champagne of Georgia, Michele C. Hebert of Mire, Jolene L. Boudreaux of Henderson, Cory Theriot and Jonas LeGrand, both of Cecilia; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kurt Theriot; his parents, Leon and Telicia Champagne Theriot; his brothers, Louis, Jeff, Theodore and Lawrence Theriot; his sisters, Laura Albert and Loretta Theriot; and his grandson, Joey LeGrand.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Cory Theriot, Craig Champagne, Jonas LeGrand, Robert Boudreaux, Michele Champagne, and Roy Albert.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jolene Boudreaux.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
