Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Monday, April 3, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Eugene Camacho, 65, who passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 9:00 am until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Deacon Butch Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Eugene enjoyed coaching baseball and boxing; and was a Golden Glove Champion three years in a row. He loved spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren. Eugene also enjoyed preparing early morning breakfast and making his mouth watering tamales. He will be sadly missed by his wonderful wife, children, grandchildren, siblings and friends. He is survived by his loving spouse, Sally Patin Camacho of Breaux Bridge; daughter, Lila Delhomme and husband Tony of Breaux Bridge; sons, Justin Camacho of Breaux Bridge, Matthew Camacho and Fiance, Breighlin of Breaux Bridge, Shane Camacho and wife Sara of Breaux Bridge; brothers, Paul Camacho, Jr. of New Iberia, Lupe Camacho of New Iberia, Michael Camacho and wife Lisa of Youngsville, Danny Camacho of New Iberia; sisters, Gloria Bourque and husband Terry of New Iberia, Juanita Escurieux and husband Gervais of Branche, Becky Vercher and husband Mike of Madisonville, Ann Patout and husband David of New Iberia, Anna Broussard and husband William of New Iberia, Liz Romero and husband Rusty of Odessa, TX; mother, Celia Camacho of New Iberia; grandchildren, Katlin, Dakota, Cheyenne, Brandt, Gabe, Riley, Christian, Jade, Khai, Cody, Paisley, Preston, Monroe and Laiken and his great grandson, Jagger. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Camacho, Sr., and his brothers, Lee Roy Camacho and Andrew "Tuffy" Camacho.
