Eugene "Gene" A. Landry

Breaux Bridge - A private memorial service will be held for Eugene Allen Landry, 76, who passed away on March 13, 2023.

Eugene "Gene" Allen Landry was born April 23, 1946, in St. Martinville. He retired with the State of Louisiana as a meat inspector for over 30 years. He spent a lot of his time raising his chickens and caring for his animals. Gene enjoyed going to the horse races, watching westerns, driving around visiting his friends and traveling. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his children, Scott Landry (Stacey), Kody Landry (Tammy), Amber Landry, and Laci Parker (Daniel); sisters, Dale “Cookie” Dauphine and Gale Saintes; grandchildren, Trevor Landry, Halie Landry, Brylie Landry, Layke Landry, Kodi Landry, Brady Miller,Lexi Miller, Noah Freeman, Blayze Landry, Bevyn Landry, Dyllan Landry, and Keaton Landry; and his great-grandchildren, Khyzer Landry, Kaylan Garcia, Avalyn Garcia, Kimberlyn Garcia, Anthony Landry, Max Landry, Theodore Landry, Demi Landry, Ray Coronado, and Quinn Charles Welsh. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Vincent Landry; father, Lawrence Landry; mother, Josie Theriot Landry; son, Kennon Landry; and brother, Larry Landry.
