Eula Mae "Put" Borel Calais

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia for Eula Mae "Put" Borel Calais, 81, who passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, in Houston, Texas. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:30 am until 10:30 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Reader will be Annette Borel Malveaux. Gift Bearers will be Haley and Lauren Malveaux. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Calais enjoyed working outside in her flower beds, talking on the phone with family and friends, watching Tv, and listening to gospel music. She was employed at Methodist Hospital in Houston for 33 years. She is survived by her sisters, Emily Robicheaux of Arnaudville and Mary Ol. Williams of Breaux Bridge; brother, Abel Borel and wife Joanna of Breaux Bridge; Godchild, Curley Williams of Breaux Bridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Calais, Jr.; father, George Borel, Sr.; mother, Enola Borel, siblings, Mary Louise Williams, George Borel, Jr., Nola Mae Durall, John Borel; Goddaughter, Betty Robicheaux. Pallbearers will be Jack Williams, Darius Borel, Kent Johnson, Kevin Joseph Sr., Noah Livings, and Montrel Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Abel Borel, Curley Williams, and a host of nieces and nephews.
