Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Monday, July 21, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Eula ; "Mae Mae" Hebert Landry, 84, who passed away on Friday, July 18, 2008 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Reverend Fr. Louis Allen Breaux, will officiate at the funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Lisa B. Sonnier. Gift bearers will be Jenny Jones and Maggie Touchet. The family would like to acknowledge the nurses and staff of J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home, friends, nieces, nephews, and their spouses, who were so helpful and took such wonderful and loving care of their beloved "Mae Mae." - your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Survivors include her loving husband, Percy J. Landry, of Cecilia; her sister, Stella Jane H. Broussard and her husband, William "Tom", of Cecilia; her sister-in-law, Bernice "Bune" Alleman; and her brother-in-law, Clovis Alleman; and many nieces, nephews, and their spouses. She was preceded in death by her son, Jessie James Landry; and her parents, Fernand and Eve Guidry Hebert; three brothers, Theobalde "Balo" Hebert, Soval Hebert, and Nursey "Nam" Hebert; six sisters, Elia Roberts, Mozella Latiolais, Lorita Roberts, Isabelle Guilbeau, Ada Angelle, and Annie R. Angelle; and her foster brother, Edwin "Dean" Hebert. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8 a.m. on Monday and continue until time of service. Pallbearers will be Bill Jones, Keith Broussard, Bill and Lyn Angelle, Harris Tauzin, and Rowdy Huval. Honorary pallbearer will be Jue Alleman Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
