VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Eula Mae Tim Dupuis Rasmussen, 81, who passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Opelousas General Hospital. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Father Michael Delcambre will officiate at the funeral Mass. Eula Mae, affectionately known as Tim to her family and friends, loved reading her prayer books and playing cards. The times which she enjoyed the most were those spent with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Sheila R. Savoy and her husband, William Bill of Cecilia; her sons, Danny Earl Rasmussen, Phillip James Rasmussen, and James Vincent Vince Rasmussen, Jr., and his wife, Gisele, all of Opelousas; seven grandchildren, Amanda Oliver, Nadine Savoy, Patrick Savoy, Danielle Rasmussen, Lisa Rasmussen, Adriana Rasmussen, and Lauren Rasmussen; one great grandchild, Aaron Bradley; one brother, Nathan Dupuis and his wife, Delores, of Leonville; and five sisters, Gladys LeBlanc and her husband, Willis, of Arnaudville, Mildred Breaux and her husband, Rufus, of Lafayette, Lucy Broussard and her husband, Woodrow, of Sunset, Ella Castille and Pearl Broussard and her husband, Earl, all of Opelousas. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Vincent Rasmussen, Sr.; her daughter, Elizabeth Betty Rasmussen; her parents, Noah and Odile Richard Dupuis; and her brother, Milton Dupuis, Sr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and continue at 7 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday. Pallbearers will be Vince Rasmussen, Patrick Savoy, Todd Broussard, Chance McGee, Shane Breaux, and Mark Crider. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Rasmussen, Phil Rasmussen, Nathan Dupuis, William Savoy, Aaron Bradley. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
